SinceLast Privacy Policy

This policy explains how SinceLast, published by Suite Systems Pty Ltd (ABN 60 082 191 982), a company registered in Queensland, Australia ("Suite Systems", "we", "us"), handles your information. It applies to the SinceLast app for iPhone and supplements our general Privacy Policy. We are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
1. The short version
SinceLast has no account and no server. What you record stays on your iPhone, and in your own private iCloud if you turn sync on. We cannot see it, we do not sell it, and there is no advertising or tracking in the app.
2. What you put into SinceLast
SinceLast stores voice recordings, transcripts, the details picked out of them, clinician names and roles, attachments you add (such as letters or results) and the briefs it builds. This can include health information. It is stored in the app's storage on your iPhone. We do not receive a copy.
3. Voice and AI processing
- Speech to text happens on your device using Apple's on-device speech recognition. SinceLast requires on-device recognition: if your iPhone can't do it for your language, the audio is not sent anywhere and you type instead.
- Picking out the key details is done by Apple's on-device model where your iPhone supports it. Nothing is sent to a server. If it isn't supported, your update is still saved and you add details yourself.
- SinceLast asks for Microphone and Speech Recognition permission only to do this, and you can turn either off in iOS Settings.
4. iCloud sync (SinceLast Pro)
If you have SinceLast Pro and iCloud turned on, SinceLast stores your data in your own private iCloud (CloudKit) container so it is available on your other devices. That container is controlled by you and Apple under your Apple Account. We cannot access, read or retrieve it. If you turn sync off, your data stays on the device only.
5. Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple, and we never receive your payment details. SinceLast uses RevenueCat to check whether you have SinceLast Pro. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated anonymous identifier and your purchase information. It does not receive your name, email or anything you record in the app.
6. Tracking, advertising and analytics
SinceLast contains no advertising and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. It has no analytics that look at what you say or record. We may receive aggregated, anonymous crash and usage statistics from Apple if you have chosen to share them with developers in iOS settings.
7. Sharing
A brief or attachment leaves your iPhone only when you choose to share, export or print it. What happens to it after that is up to you and whoever you send it to.
8. Backups
If you use iCloud Backup, your iPhone's normal backup includes SinceLast's data, like any other app. That is controlled by iOS and your Apple Account, not by SinceLast.
9. Keeping and deleting your data
Your data stays until you delete it. In SinceLast, Settings → Delete all my data removes every update, recording, brief and clinician from the iPhone and, if sync is on, from your iCloud copy. Deleting the app removes the data on that iPhone. Because we hold no copy, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
10. What SinceLast is not
SinceLast organises information you provide. It does not diagnose conditions or provide medical advice, and it is not a medical record or a medical device.
11. Children
SinceLast is not directed at children under 13.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and material changes will be shown in the app.
