Accessibility in SinceLast
We want SinceLast to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use VoiceOver, Voice Control, larger text or other assistive technology. This report says what we have actually tested, what we have not, and where SinceLast still falls short. Read it alongside our accessibility commitment.
No hands-on test has been recorded yet.
Overview
Every feature has one status, and the status is the whole claim. These are the recorded statuses for SinceLast. They are not a score, and none of them is a guarantee that the app works for everyone.

Accessibility features
Each feature is described, given its recorded status, and followed by the evidence and observations behind that status. Nothing is rated higher than the checking behind it.
Built in and checked Built into the app and covered by our automated tests and Apple accessibility checks. Not yet confirmed by hand on a real device, so we do not call it tested.
-
VoiceOver
Every control has a clear label, state and action, read in a logical order.
Buttons and controls have spoken labels. The recording timer reads as a time, and VoiceOver announces when recording starts, pauses, resumes and stops, and when your brief is updated. Processing steps say whether they are done, in progress or need attention. Decorative artwork is skipped.
-
Larger Text
Text scales to the largest accessibility sizes without being cut off or overlapping.
Text scales with your Larger Text setting, including the large titles and the recording timer. Titles wrap instead of shrinking, and the Home and recording screens scroll when text is very large. The tab bar and the clinician name at the top stop growing at the first accessibility size so they never take over the screen.
-
Contrast
Text and controls are readable, including with Increase Contrast switched on.
Secondary text, orange labels and input borders were darkened to meet WCAG AA contrast in light and dark mode. The app's own tests check every text colour against every background it sits on (4.5:1 for text, 3:1 for borders). It has not yet been checked on a real device.
-
Differentiate Without Colour
Nothing depends on colour alone to carry meaning.
Colour is never the only signal. Processing steps use different icons plus a spoken status, the recording state has a text label, and the selected tab and selected plan use a filled icon or checkmark as well as colour.
-
Reduce Motion
Non-essential animation is removed when Reduce Motion is on.
With Reduce Motion on, the pulsing recording dot, the moving voice line, button animations and screen transitions are switched off or held still.
-
Dark Mode
The app is comfortable to read in both light and dark appearance.
The app follows your light or dark setting. Onboarding is always dark. Home, Brief, History, Settings and the Pro screen have been checked in dark mode.
-
Touch targets
Controls are large enough and spaced well enough to tap reliably.
Buttons, including the close, discard, restore and type-instead buttons, are at least 44 by 44 points. Apple's automated accessibility audit found no undersized touch targets on Home, Brief, History or the Pro screen.
-
Subscription and purchase screens
Everything needed to choose, buy and restore is accessible.
The Pro screen has a heading, grouped feature rows, plan options that say which one is selected, and Restore purchases, Not now and Close buttons that are easy to reach and read aloud properly.
-
First-run setup
Onboarding can be completed with assistive technology.
Onboarding text scales with Larger Text. At the largest sizes the paragraphs use the full width, the artwork fades behind the text, and the steps scroll with the Continue button kept clear. The name and role fields are labelled, and decorative artwork is hidden from VoiceOver. Apple's accessibility audit passes on all three steps at the largest text size.
-
Errors and alerts
Problems are announced clearly, not just shown.
Microphone and recording problems, and a failed transcription or key-point step, are announced by VoiceOver as well as shown on screen. Save failures use standard alerts.
Not yet assessed We have not looked at this yet.
-
Voice Control
Every control can be operated by saying its name.
No evidence has been recorded for this feature.
-
Switch Control and keyboard
The app can be operated with Switch Control or a keyboard.
No evidence has been recorded for this feature.
Does not apply This feature is not relevant to this app.
-
Charts and graphs
Every chart has a text summary that carries the same information.
SinceLast has no charts or graphs. The moving line on the recording screen is decoration and is hidden from VoiceOver.
How we tested
We check SinceLast with automated tests and Apple's accessibility checks as we build it, but we have not yet recorded a hands-on test on a real device. When we do, the app version, date, devices and technologies will be listed here.
Every status in this report comes from checking the app, not from assuming the platform handles it. Tested means we tried it by hand on a real device. Built in and checked means it is in the app and covered by our automated tests and Apple's accessibility checks, but we have not yet confirmed it by hand.
Read more about our method on the accessibility page.
Known limitations
We have not recorded any known limitations. That is not the same as there being none: see the statuses above for what we have confirmed by hand and what we have only checked so far.
